Stock Fabrics

Cadworks specialises in printed fabric for home furnishings in the UK, using premium natural fabrics sourced from trusted British and European textile mills. Our carefully curated stock range includes cottons, 100% linens, and linen union base fabrics, all selected for their quality, durability, and suitability for digital textile printing.

Our most popular base cloth in production is bleached Oxford linen union. Originally developed as a Laura Ashley fabric, this base is now woven exclusively for Cadworks by John Spencer Textiles, a family-owned weaving company with a long-standing heritage in British textile manufacturing.

British-Made Fabrics with Local Finishing

All of our stock fabrics are woven at their mill in Burnley and proudly labelled Made in Britain. Once woven, fabrics are finished locally here in Lancashire, keeping the entire production process rooted in the UK.

This close proximity allows for greater quality control, faster turnaround times, and consistent results across every print run. Operating at the heart of the UK’s historic textile region, Cadworks supports British manufacturing while supplying high-quality printed fabric for home furnishings to brands, designers, and trade partners nationwide.

Sampling, Storage and Stock Management

We are happy to send out a free sample pack on request, allowing you to assess fabric quality and print performance before committing to production. Alternatively, we can recommend trusted fabric wholesalers who deliver customer-supplied fabrics directly to us for printing on a weekly basis.

Customer fabrics and finished goods are stored securely within our warehouse. Each client is allocated individual storage bays, enabling efficient stock management when sampling, holding, and printing to order.
