Our Story
Cadworks is headed up by Simon Nagy, (Managing Director) and Lesia Kecyk, (Creative Director). Between us we have over 40 years printing experience with an in depth understanding of design, separation, colouration and printing.
We created Cadworks after the company we had worked for ceased trading. With a belief and desire to continue to serve our customers, we bought second hand equipment and found a new studio the very next day.
We have built the company up through a passion for digital printing and skills, combined with a strong belief in personal customer service and are extremely proud to see our company growing.
In 2016, Cadworks expanded into a larger premises and invested in new machinery. We are looking forward to the next step in our printing business, supporting the British home textiles industry.
About Us
Simon Nagy - Managing Director
Simon has always been interested in colour. Originally working as a painter decorator, he changed direction to work at Alexander Drew & Sons, a traditional printing mill in Lancashire. At the time this was the largest textile mill in Europe.
He progressed from the shop floor enhancing his knowledge of printing production along the way. On liquidation of the company, Simon and Lesia decided to invest and independently establish Cadworks.
Lesia Kecyk - Creative Director
Lesia was creative from an early age and successfully designed a collection for Sanderson, whilst doing her textile degree. Following her degree Lesia had many creative jobs, including designing a collection of pottery that was sold in Harrods, while working for Dunoon.
Additionally she worked in the design studio of Royal Doulton, Sunderland and Wilde and Cunningham and Johnson, before becoming Studio Manager at Alexander Drew & Sons and co-founding Cadworks in 2003.
