We have installed a state of the art modular roll to roll dryer, fitted with chemical padding and washing units, to provide a complete pre and post treatment in-house production line.

Its first function as a baker is through the dry heat fixation process, which all of our production orders go through across all fabrics.
The combined Porta-Pad unit provides a fully modular line for coating, finishing and drying.

We now have the capabilities to enhance colours by up to 25% in strength and vibrancy, therefore increasing the colour penetration of your designs. This can be achieved depending on the type of fabric, design and colourways.

With the post padding treatment, we run printed production through our padder with a special pre-treatment of liquid which acts as a fabric protector and recent tests have shown that with this service we’ve had improvements above the minumum of 20,000 rubs, again dependent on the cloth & colours used.

The padding process increases colour penetration, sealing the colours into the fabric, improving levelness and sharpness of prints, and providing a more hard wearing durable finish without affecting the handling. At this stage we can also incorporate a softening agent if desired, ready for our customers ranges, fabrics or desired end use.
